I have been a resident of Southgate for over 30 years and it has given me an opportunity to watch our city change and grow. Like so many families in Southgate, we have decided to stay and raise our three children here, making a lifelong investment.  I enjoy getting involved, being a part of the process; I want to be instrumental in the future of Southgate, to help create a citywide image we can all be proud of.

I bring to council many years of experience in marketing and business management in a vast variety of industries.  This includes the process of budget reduction and implementing the changes necessary to accomplish these goals.  As an organized professional you can be sure that I will follow through on issues and get the job done!

The continued development of our Parks & Nature Centers is very important to me.  We live in such a fast-paced world and it is difficult to find the time or place to relax.  By working to improve our existing parks and adding a few more will give our residents a place to exercise, appreciate nature and gather with friends/family.   

It is my goal to play an active roll in: 

• Citywide improvements using Grant funding. 

• Ongoing communication with all residents, listening to their suggestions and concerns

• Promotion of the Heritage Days Parade and festivities

• Breast Cancer awareness

• Limiting the amount of development in green spaces

• Senior Citizen Programs

Serving my first term as City Council Representative I look forward to working with our new Mayor and Council, helping to make crucial decisions about city development and policies.  Through interactive discussion, research and facts our citizens can be sure that each decision I make has been well thought out and debated before a final decision is made. 

 Thank you for your support, I am honored to have the opportunity to represent and serve the residents of our city.  I am dedicated to making Southgate the very best it can be.
